	Remove/install
1	Move steering column forwards and raise as far as possible	When removing driver seat.
2	Move front seat (1) backwards and all the way to top
3	Remove screws/bolts (5) from guide rails	Bolt, front seat to vehicle floor	*BA91.10-P-1001-01T
4	Adjust front seat (1) to front
5	Unclip paneling (6) towards the rear and remove	Model 205.0/1/2 Model 253
6	Remove belt end fitting (7)	Model 205.0/1/2 Model 253

7	Remove bolts (2)	Bolt, front seat to vehicle floor	*BA91.10-P-1001-01T
8	Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery		AR54.10-P-0003LW
9	Tilt back front seat (1)
10	Disconnect electrical connectors and pneumatic line from bottom side of front seat (1)	The number of electrical connectors and the installation of the pneumatic line depend on the vehicle equipment.
11	Cover center console, steering wheel, door sill and door sill molding

12	Remove front seat (1) from the vehicle through the door cutout for the front door	Carefully remove front seat (1) from vehicle. Otherwise components of the vehicle may be damaged. Ensure that lock pins of guide rails in vehicle floor are seated correctly. Helper required.
13	Put down front seat (1) and secure it against tipping over
14	Remove covers (3, 4)	When carrying out other work on the front seat (1). Ensure that covers (3, 4) are seated correctly.
15	Install in the reverse order
