Remove/install charge air manifold - AR09.41-P-1310MTA

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition    
2 Remove engine cover    
3 Remove oil separator   AR01.20-P-9750MTA
4 Remove low-temperature circuit coolant expansion reservoir   AR20.30-P-4951MTA
5 Disconnect electrical connection at partial load operation crankcase ventilation system valve (Y58/2).    
6 Detach partial load purge valve from holder INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Check purge valve holder; replace if necessary.  
7 Disconnect electrical connections at charge air temperature sensor downstream of throttle valve (B17/9), pressure sensor downstream of throttle valve (B28/7) and throttle valve actuator (M16/6)    
8 Expose electrical wiring harness    
9 Slacken screw/bolts (1) in the reverse order of the tightening procedure and remove.   AR09.41-P-1312-01MT
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Observe tightening procedure.  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, charge air distributor to cylinder head *BA09.41-P-1001-01T 
10 Remove charge air distributor upwards INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace seals.  
  Carry out operation steps 11 to 13 when replacing the charge air distributor     
11 Detach partial load purge line    
12 Detach throttle valve actuator (M16/6)   AR07.61-P-1401MTA
13 Detach charge air temperature sensor downstream of throttle valve (B17/9) and pressure sensor downstream of throttle valve (B28/7) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace seals.  
14 Install in the reverse order    
15 Read out fault memory using the diagnostic system and clear if necessary    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04A
DANGER Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
16 Carry out an engine test run and check engine and fuel system for leaktightness
