1	Remove bottom engine compartment paneling	Only install lower engine compartment paneling after engine test run and leak test.	AR61.20-P-1105SX
2	Drain engine oil
	Engine oil and filter change		AP18.00-P-0101SX
3	Remove the oil dipstick guide tube		AR18.40-P-3510SX
4	Remove bolts (1a) of pressure line (3) from oil pan bottom section (1)	Except model 221.095/195

5	Remove bolts (1b) on oil pan bottom section (1)		*BA01.45-P-1003-01M
6	Loosen and remove oil pan bottom section (1) from oil pan (2)	Pry off oil pan bottom section (1) from oil pan (2) by turning a bolt into pry off bore (1c) and release from oil pan (2) using a mounting wedge. Pry off oil pan bottom section (1) from oil pan (2) using bolt just far enough for the mounting wedge to be slid in between sealing surfaces otherwise the oil pan bottom section (1) and sealing surface of the oil pan (2) may be damaged.
		If oil pan bottom section (1) cannot be loosened from oil pan (2), heat oil pan bottom section (1) in area around sealing surfaces using hot air gun. Observe application of sealant to oil pan bottom section (1): ↓ Notes on oil pan bottom section sealant path (1)	Figure

	Clean
7	Clean sealing surfaces on oil pan bottom section (1) and oil pan (2).	Do not use any sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper as this will damage the sealing surfaces.	AR01.00-P-0050-01A

		Loctite 7063 cleaning spray (150 ml)	*BR00.45-Z-1046-04A
8	Install in the reverse order
	Checking
9	Check engine oil level; correct if necessary
	Engine oil and filter change		AP18.00-P-0101SX
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. 10	Carry out engine test run, checking the engine for proper operation and leaks
