	Removing
1	Remove front door (3)		AR72.10-P-0500CW
2	Remove left or right trim (5)	Completely depress parking brake pedal (4) toward front to remove paneling (5) on driver side.
3	Expose nuts (7)	When removing left or right bottom A-pillar hinge leaf (1.1). On model 204, 207 it is necessary to detach the insulation mat (6). On model 212, 218 a cap must be removed.
4	Unscrew bolt on lower A-pillar hinge leaf (1.1) on outside of A-pillar	Model 207, when removing left and right lower A-pillar hinge leaf (1.1).
5	Unscrew nuts (7) and remove bottom A-pillar hinge leaf (1.1)	When removing left or right bottom A-pillar hinge leaf (1.1).
6.1	Remove dashboard cover (8).	When removing top A-pillar hinge leaf (2.1) on driver side.
6.2	Remove glove box	When removing top A-pillar hinge leaf (2.1) on passenger side.

7	Remove cover (17)	When removing top A-pillar hinge leaf (2.1) on driver side.
8	Unscrew bolts (9) and remove fresh air/recirculated air flap actuator motor (M2/5)	When removing top A-pillar hinge leaf (2.1) on passenger side. Do not disconnect electrical connector (10).
9	Unscrew bolt on upper A-pillar hinge leaf (2.1) on outside of A-pillar	Model 207, when removing upper A-pillar hinge leaf (2.1).
10	Unscrew nuts (11) and remove top A-pillar hinge leaf (2.1)	When removing upper A-pillar hinge leaf (2.1). On model 204 a connection piece 3/8 t□o 1/2 (□12) and a socket wrench (13) with a length of 77 mm and a size of 13 mm is required to loosen the nuts (11). An additional corresponding extension (14) is required to loosen the nuts (11) on the driver side. Connection piece 3/8 t□o 1/2 (□12) and socket wrench (13) 1
11	Unscrew bolts (15) from front door (3) and remove lower door hinge leaf (1.2)	When removing lower door hinge leaf (1.2).
12	Unscrew bolts (16) from front door (3) and remove upper door hinge leaf (2.2)	When removing upper door hinge leaf (2.2).
Install
13	Position upper door hinge leaf (2.2) on front door (3) and tighten bolts (16)	When installing upper door hinge leaf (2.2). Use thread locking agent. Repair paint damage on bolt heads

14	Position lower door hinge leaf (1.2) on front door (3) and tighten bolts (15)	When installing lower door hinge leaf (1.2). Use thread locking agent. Repair paint damage on bolt heads

15	Position top A-pillar hinge leaf (2.1) and tighten nuts (11)	When installing upper A-pillar hinge leaf (2.1).
		Replace damaged seal on top A-pillar hinge leaf (2.1).
		On model 204 a connection piece 3/8 t□o 1/2 (□12) and a socket wrench (13) with a length of 77 mm and a size of 13 mm is required to tighten the nuts (11). An additional corresponding extension (14) is required to tighten the nuts (11) on the driver side.
