	Remove/install
	Risk of injury caused by fingers being pinched or crushed when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, liftgates or sliding roof	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Completely lower crank window in front door (1).
2	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit	KEYLESS-GO start/stop button only on vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go.
3	Unclip cover (2) from door lining (3)	Mounting wedge
4	Disconnect electrical connectors (4) from left front door control unit (N69/1) or right front door control unit (N69/2)	The number of electrical connectors (4) can vary depending on the equipment.

5	Unclip protective hose (5) from front door (1)	Mounting wedge	Fig 2
6	Pull wiring harness (6) out of front door (1)	Installation : Observe insulation material around electrical wiring harness (6).
7	Remove caps from bolts (7) and unscrew bolts (7)	Installation : Use Loctite thread locking agent.

8	Remove front door (1) from door hinges (8) with aid of helper and lay down on suitable base	Carefully remove front door (1). Danger of damaging paint on front door (1) and front fender.
9	Remove hinge leaf of upper door hinge (8) on door side.	Model 204, model 207, model 212 except code (Z04) Light armoring, when replacing front door (1). Installation : Remove hinge leaf of upper door hinge (8) on door side and replace with eccentric hinge leaf.	AR72.10-P-2660CW
10	Perform cavity preservation	When replacing front door (1).

11	Install in the reverse order
12	Check adjustment of front door (1), correct if necessary.		AR72.10-P-0550CW
13	Check for proper function and synchronize power window
