Bleed brake system - AR42.10-P-0010T

MODIFICATION NOTES

5.8.10 Operation step 1 and 8 added
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury  caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes. Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid. AS42.50-Z-0001-01A

CLEAN Clean     
1 Remove cover on brake fluid expansion reservoir (2) IMPORTANT Only for vehicles with cover on brake fluid expansion reservoir (2).  
2 Clean area around cap (1)    
3 Unscrew cap (1). TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA42.50-P-1001-01D 
4 Add new brake fluid up to the "MAX." mark in the expansion reservoir (2)    
5 Connect the brake fluid change unit to the expansion reservoir (2) and switch on IMPORTANT Pay attention to manufacturer's operating instructions.

6 Remove the front wheels Vehicles with 6-piston or 8-piston brake calipers

7 Carrying out bleeding operation Model 211, 219 AR42.10-P-0010-02SX

8 Bleed clutch operating system IMPORTANT Only on vehicles with manual transmission, when the brake fluid level in the brake fluid expansion reservoir (2) has dropped below the hose outlet for the clutch master cylinder. AR25.20-P-0070P
9 Install in the reverse order    
INSPECT Checking     
10 Check brake system for leaks Model 211, 219
