Extending/retracting automatic loading floor, function - GF68.80-P-2001TA
MODEL 211.2 with CODE (943) Automatically extendable main loading floor
| 15.03.07 | The document has been updated to this date and will no longer be subject to revision. |
Requirements
- Terminal 15 OFF
- Speed =0 km/h
- Tailgate must be open (extension motion)
- no overvoltage or undervoltage
Function
The actuation types for extending and retracting the automatic loading floor via loading floor switch (S150) are:
- automatic/manual extension
- manual retraction
The status of the loading floor switch (S150) as well as the status of tailgate (closed/open) are transmitted to the loading floor control module (N130) by the tailgate control module (N111) via the CAN interior compartment bus The status of the loading floor (extended/retracted) is read out by the loading floor control module (N130) via the loading floor On limit switch (S150/1) and loading floor OFF limit switch (S150/2) According to the request of the loading floor switch (S150) the loading floor control module (n130) supplies the loading floor hydraulic pump (M69) with power.
Extension (manual motion):
Press loading floor switch (S150) (symbol opening) until first detent and hold down
The automatic loading floor is extended manually until the control switch is released or the loading floor OFF limit switch (S150/2) signals "loading floor extended". If the loading floor switch (S150) is released during extension, the loading floor motion stops immediately.
Extension (automatic operation):
Press loading floor switch (S150) (symbol open) beyond first detent and release
The automatic loading floor is automatically extended until the loading floor OFF limit switch (S150/2) signals "loading floor extended".
The automatic adjustment is stopped immediately when
- the loading floor switch (S150) or
- the tailgate remote opening switch (S15) (vehicles with automatic tailgate, code 890) is actuated
Retracting (manual operation):
Press loading floor switch (S150) (symbol closing) and hold down
The automatic loading floor is retracted manually until the loading floor switch (S150) is released or the loading floor On limit switch (S150/1) signals "loading floor retracted". If the loading floor switch (S150) is released during retraction, the loading floor motion stops immediately.
Abort the function
The function is immediately interrupted if:
- function requirements are not satisfied
- actuation of the hydraulic unit for t>25 s
- by request of the loading floor switch (S150) or the tailgate remote opening switch (S15) during automatic extension.
- defective loading floor switch (S150)
If, at the time of the request (extending/retracting loading floor), the loading floor On limit switch (S150/1)
or loading floor OFF limit switch (S150/2)
is recognized as erroneous by the loading floor control module (N130)
the loading floor hydraulic pump (M69)
is supplied with power for max. 2 s. This procedure is accomplished with each new request.
Special case with automatic tailgate, code 890
If the vehicle is equipped with an automatic tailgate, code 890 the status of the automatic loading floor does not influence the behavior of the automatic tailgate closing system. If the loading floor is not completely retracted (status signal from loading floor control module N130 via CAN interior compartment bus) and a request for closing the tailgate at the tailgate closing system control module (N121/1) is present, it transmits a warning signal to the tailgate control module (N111).
Via the CAN interior compartment bus which causes the loading floor switch (S150) to flash. This warning signal remains set as long as the request "Close tailgate" is present on the tailgate closing system control module (N121/1). The loading floor switch (S150) flashes as a warning for a maximum of 10 flashing cycles
Then a new warning signal must be transmitted to the tailgate control module (N111) by the tailgate closing system control module via the CAN interior compartment bus.
The warning flashing is interrupted by the tailgate control module (N111)
if a request from the loading floor switch (S150)
is present.
