Change in the repair method, to release the timing chain, the chain tensioner is no longer removed, instead the slide rail in the cylinder head is pushed back

3	Remove front cover at cylinder head		AR01.30-P-5700QK
4	Rotate the engine at the crankshaft in the direction of rotation.	Until the piston of cylinder 1 is at TDC marking ±2° crankshaft angle. The TDC marking on the belt pulley/vibration damper must be aligned with the positioning edge on the timing case cover. The cams of the inlet camshaft and the exhaust camshaft at cylinder 1 must be positioned up at an angle.

5	Mount retainer (2)	Install retainer (2) above recesses on top camshaft case.

7	Unscrew center bolt and remove camshaft adjusters (3) from respective camshaft	At the same time unhinge timing chain and secure against falling down. The intake and the exhaust camshaft is slackened in the same direction (arrow). Installation: The camshaft adjusters (3) do not require any particular adjustment as they feature a positioning pin (1). To avoid confusion, the camshaft adjusters (3) are marked with "A" for exhaust camshaft and with "E" for intake camshaft.
