Remove/install rear door window lifter - AR72.12-P-1810SXS

MODEL 221.1 with CODE (Z07) Top protection with hydraulic power windows

REMOVING Removing     
DANGER Risk of injury  from pinching and crushing hands and feet when working on windows. Secure windows against dropping, use only specified lifting tools, wear protective shoes. AS67.00-Z-0003-01A
NOTES Notes on avoiding damage to windows installed in special high-security vehicles   AH67.00-P-0003-01FB
1 Completely close crank window in left or right rear door and secure against falling down with clamping pliers SPECIAL TOOL Figure
2 Remove door foil from rear door   AR72.12-P-0105SXS 
3 Remove inner door panel   AR72.12-P-0104SXS 
4 Remove bolts (2) and retaining rail (3)    
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases even sever extremities. Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts. AS00.00-Z-0009-01A
5 Release pressure in pressure reservoir for hydraulic power window (1) in rear door AR72.12-P-1810-06SXS 
6 Mark installation position of hydraulic lines (4) on valve block (5)    
7 Remove hydraulic lines (4) from valve block (5). Then plug openings in hydraulic lines (4) and valve block (5) NOTES Use only suitable stop plugs or lint-free rags for plugging. Lint or contamination can contaminate the hydraulic system and thereby cause damage.  
8 Remove bolts (6) and remove power window (1) from rear door    
INSTALLING Install     
9 Position power window (1) in rear door and tighten bolts (6) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA72.12-P-1004-01N
TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA72.12-P-1005-01N
TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA72.12-P-1006-01N
10 Attach hydraulic lines (4) to valve block (5). TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA72.12-P-1027-01N
11 Align power window (1) and crank window hole patterns with one another, position retaining rails (3) and tighten bolts (2) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA72.12-P-1007-01N

12 Remove clamping pliers SPECIAL TOOL Figure
13 Install inner door panel   AR72.12-P-0104SXS 
14.1 Check adjustment of hydraulic power window rear door limit switch (S21/25), correct if required When power window (1) has been replaced.
IMPORTANT When the crank window is rolled up completely, the hydraulic power window rear door limit switch (S21/25) must be depressed; if necessary, loosen bolts (7) and correct adjustment.
 
15 Install door oil at rear door   AR72.12-P-0105SXS 
16 Check fill level of power window hydraulic pump; correct if necessary    
REFER TO MAINTENANCE Power window system - check oil level AP67.30-P-6710SX
