Check engine valve timing - AR05.10-P-6858GZB

REMOVING Removing     
1 Remove cylinder head covers   AR01.20-P-5014GZB
2 Remove mixing chamber   AR09.20-P-1320GZB
INSPECT Checking     
3 Check timing chain   AR05.10-P-7600GZB 
4 Check tightening torque of chain tensioner (1) IMPORTANT The chain tensioner (1) must be installed and tightened at the correct tightening torque.  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA05.10-P-1001-01L 
5 Position piston of cylinder 1 to ignition TDC IMPORTANT Rotate engine at crankshaft in the running direction. The markings (2) on camshaft sprockets must be positioned opposite each other. The markings (3) at the camshaft sprockets must be aligned with the cylinder head and lie on the left side.
IMPORTANT The TDC marking (4) on belt pulley must be aligned with bar of timing case cover.		  
6 Inspect basic position of balancing shaft IMPORTANT Only in the case of damage
IMPORTANT The marking (5) at the balance shaft drive wheel (6) must stand at the vertical center line.		 AR03.20-P-3637OM
INSTALLING Install     
7 Install mixing chamber   AR09.20-P-1320GZB
8 Install cylinder head cover   AR01.20-P-5014GZB
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.		 AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
9 Check for oil leaks with engine running
