	Remove/install
	Risk of explosion caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel and risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel.	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.	AS47.00-Z-0001-01A

1	Turn key in ignition switch to position "0".

3	Remove engine trim panel
4	Remove the partition wall between the wheelhouses	Model 251 only	AR62.30-P-2400RT
5	Remove air filter housing	Do not tilt front engine cover, but lift upwards vertically otherwise the retaining lugs can break off.	AR09.10-P-1150GZS
6	Reduce fuel pressure with the pressure hose via the service valve		AR07.03-P-1460-01TMG

7	Dismount fuel line at fuel distributor (2)	Catch escaping fuel with an absorbent rag! Seal connections immediately with stop plugs.

9	Remove bolt (3), remove purge line (4)
10	Remove bolt (5) at wiring harness (8) bracket		*BA01.30-P-1006-01U
11	Loosen bolts of the cylinder head cover (1) in the reverse order of the tightening procedure and remove them		AR01.20-P-5014-03AMG

12	Remove cylinder head cover (1)	To avoid damaging sealing surfaces, do not use any tool for prying off between cylinder head cover (1) and cylinder head.
13	Install in the reverse order

	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. 14	Conduct engine test run and check the engine for leaks
