Replace rear crankshaft radial seal - AR03.20-P-3063GZ: Notes

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/Install    
DANGER Risk of death  cased by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between the columns of the hydraulic hoist and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1 Remove automatic transmission   AR27.10-P-0500GZ
2 Remove drive plate (3)   AR03.30-P-8001GZ 
3 Remove end cover (1) IMPORTANT The crankshaft radial sealing ring (2) at the end cover (1) cannot be exchanged. This end cover (1) is fitted at the factory and therefore must be replaced.
IMPORTANT Crankshaft radial sealing ring (2) must not be pushed out when the end cover (1) is fitted.

4 Remove crankshaft radial seal (2) IMPORTANTInstallation:  First of all install the end cover (1), then install the crankshaft radial sealing ring (2):↓  
    Install crankshaft radial seal AR03.20-P-3063-01B

5 Install in the reverse order    
6 Check engine oil level and correct if required. NOTES Vehicle must be horizontal and standing on its wheels. Measuring errors can occur if this requirement is not observed. AR18.00-P-3035-01GZ
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns when working in engine during starting procedure Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.

7 Conduct engine test run and check the engine for oil leaks NOTES In the event of oil loss determine and eliminate cause, otherwise malfunctions, transmission damage, and serious environmental pollution may occur.
