Remove/install antenna - AR82.70-P-8951T

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1 Remove right and left side lining in luggage compartment On vehicles with code (287) Through-loading feature. AR68.30-P-4800TA
On vehicles without code (287) Through-loading feature or without code (924) Bivalent natural gas drive. AR68.30-P-4800T
On vehicles with code (924) Bivalent natural gas drive. AR68.30-P-4800TB
2 Detach self-adhesive felt (8) at left and right and expose telephone antenna line (2) and GPS antenna line (2a) IMPORTANT Observe installation position of telephone antenna line (2) and of GPS antenna line (2a).
NOTESInstallation:  Attach telephone antenna line (2) and GPS antenna line (2a) using self-adhesive felt (8), as otherwise telephone antenna line (2) and GPS antenna line (2a) may be damaged at the trunk lid hinge.
 
3.1 Disconnect telephone antenna connector (A2/49a1x1) On vehicles without code (228) Stationary heater.  
3.2 Detach telephone antenna line connector (2) from telephone/cell phone/STH radio remote control antenna splitter (A2/53). On vehicles with code (228) Stationary heater.  
4 Undo nut on ground of right luggage compartment wheel well (W7) and remove ground line (7)    
5 Detach GPS antenna connector (A2/49a2x1)    
6 Undo nut on ground of left luggage compartment wheel well (W6) and remove ground line (6).    
7 Remove right cover (1) and left cover (1a)    
8 Remove telephone antenna line (2) with right grommet (3) out of the right cable duct IMPORTANT Note installation of lines in luggage compartment.
IMPORTANTInstallation:  Coat right rubber grommet (3) with soapy water.
 
9 Withdraw telephone antenna line (2) out of rear window rubber sealing IMPORTANTInstallation:  Insert telephone antenna line (2) into the rear window rubber sealing using a suitable feeler gauge.

10 Remove GPS antenna line (2a) with left rubber grommet (3a) from left cable duct IMPORTANT Note installation of lines in luggage compartment.
IMPORTANTInstallation:  Coat left rubber grommet (3a) with soapy water.
 
11 Pull out GPS antenna line (2a) from rear window rubber seal IMPORTANTInstallation:  Insert GPS antenna line (2a) into the rear window rubber sealing using a suitable feeler gauge.

12 Detach GPS antenna (A2/49a2) from rear window using assembly wedge, remove and then remove adhesive residues on rear window using cleaning agent IMPORTANTInstallation:  Glue on GPS antenna (A2/49a2). If the old GPS antenna is being re-used (A2/49a2), use prescribed adhesive foil. AR82.70-P-8951-01T

13 Install in the reverse order
