Measure propeller shaft alignment with electronic propeller shaft inclinometer - AR41.10-P-0086T
MODEL 211
| Measure | |||
| Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts | AH00.00-N-0001-01A | ||
| The vehicle must be on its wheels for the measurement. | |||
| The transmission mounts and exhaust system must not be stressed during the inclination angle measurement | If necessary, relieve the stress in the transmission mounts/exhaust system. To relieve the stress in the transmission mounts, loosen the left and right engine mount as well as the rear engine crossmember, align and tighten again. | ||
| Inclination angles that deviate from the specified value can be the cause of complaints about drivetrain vibration and rough response to acceleration | |||
| 1.1 | Drive the vehicle onto a suitable pit and secure using the parking brake | ||
| 1.2 | Drive vehicle onto a measuring lifting platform, secure with the parking brake and lift up | ||
| 2.1 | Detach lower engine compartment paneling from transmission | Model 211 with gasoline engine | AR61.20-P-1105T |
| 2.2 | Detach bottom section of soundproofing from transmission | Model 211 with diesel engine | AR94.30-P-5300T |
