Remove/install windshield - AR67.10-P-1000P

MODEL 169, 171, 203, 207, 209, 211, 212.1/2, 218, 230.4, 240, 245.2 

MODEL 212.0 except CODE (Z04) Light armoring

REMOVING Removing    
DANGER Risk of injury caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases even sever extremities.  Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism. AS82.30-Z-0001-01A

1 Prepare 1-component adhesive cartridge   AR67.10-P-1000-12SX 
    SPECIAL TOOL Intermediate piece
Cartridge preheater (not regulated), cartridge gun

2 Open side window in driver door NOTES If all of the windows are closed, the windshield (1) can be pressed outward by the air pressure during the curing period when closing the doors.  
3 Remove detachable parts when replacing windshield (1). Model 169 AR67.10-P-1050AK

5 Cut out windshield (1) with Roll Out 2004 window removal tool Roll out 2004 window removal tool gotis://K_67.0_01.0

INSTALLING Install     
6 Remove silicon gel on rain/light sensor (B38/2) from windshield (1) Model 169, 245.2 with code (U58) Exterior light & vision package or with code (345) Rain sensor
IMPORTANT Only when using previously installed windshield (1).		  
7 Prepare body flange for installation of window   AR67.10-P-1501-01P 
    Wet and dry vacuum cleaner gotis://P_00.12_06.0

NOTES General notes about painting the body flange in the glazing area Pay attention to notes concerning the preparation of new parts such as the A-pillar, the roof or the side walls. AH98.00-P-9408-06A
8 Transfer detachable parts on windshield (1). IMPORTANT Use new windshield (1) depending on version.  
9 Prepare windshield (1) for glazing   AR67.10-P-1000-03P

10.1 Replace rubber window spacers IMPORTANT Do not remove protective foil.

11 Align windshield (1) in the body opening IMPORTANT Aid of helper required.
Observe dimensions and gap dimensions.

16 Remove cover from dashboard    
17 Select adaptation of rain sensor, light sensor reinforcement factor with coding as well as windshield variant and perform with Star Diagnosis Model 171, 203, 207, 209, 211, 212, 218, 240
Model 169, 245.2 with code (U58) Exterior light & vision package
Model 230.4 only when replacing windshield (1).
IMPORTANT Engine hood and driver door must be closed.		 AD00.00-P-2000-04A
18 Check all electrical consumers in area repaired for proper function.    
19 Close side window in driver door    
20 Clean windshield (1) and passenger compartment
