	Remove
	Risk of explosion  caused by escaping oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of injury  caused by caustic burns to eyes, skin and mucous membranes from battery electrolyte (contains diluted sulfuric acid) or metal spatter due to short circuit. Risk of burn injuries  caused by short circuit. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing battery electrolyte (contains diluted sulfuric acid) or absorption of lead over the skin or orifices	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves and clothing and safety glasses with side guards. Do not place any conductive objects on the battery and avoid any short circuit from battery positive to ground. Only fill liquid battery electrolyte (diluted sulfuric acid) into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A

1	Move both front seats forward and fold down
2	Remove right  rear seat
	Remove/install rear seat		AR91.12-P-1000RT
3	Remove paneling at bottom right  of B-pillar
	Remove/install paneling on B-pillar		AR68.30-P-4700RT
4	Remove spare tire
5	Remove spare tire well trim (6)
6	Unclip load compartment fuse and relay box (F4)
7	Remove trim on right-hand  side of luggage compartment
	Remove/install side paneling in trunk		AR68.30-P-4800RT
8	Remove cargo retainers behind front passenger seat		*BA68.50-P-1001-03G
9	Unclip outside seat rail covers at back of front passenger seat and remove them
10	Lift up floor covering behind front passenger seat and move the covering out of work area
11	Remove nuts (2) and then remove right rear floor panel (3)
12	Remove rear ashtray	Only with ashtray package/smoker package, code 301. Dispose of rear ashtray.
	Remove/install rear ashtray		AR68.20-P-2230RT
13	Unclip center paneling behind center console	Except ashtray package/smoker package, code 301. Dispose of paneling.

14	Remove rear air nozzle
	Remove/install rear air nozzle		AR83.10-P-4800RT
15	Remove control and operating unit for rear air conditioning system
	Remove and install rear air conditioning control and operating unit		AR83.50-P-9070RT
16	Unclip covers at sides (1)	Dispose of covers.
		Mounting wedge	Fig 3
17	Remove nuts (4) and place air duct (5) to one side
	Install
18	Retrofit wiring harness of DVD player		AZ82.60-P-0005-02RT
19	Retrofit monitor (7) for DVD player		AZ82.60-P-0005-04RT
20	Secure DVD player (8) at the installation location of ashtray/paneling with screws	Connect voltage supply and video signal lines to DVD player.
21	Install cover (9)
22	Install in the reverse order	Work steps 17 to 1 except work steps 13.1, 13.2.
23	Perform function test of DVD player
