"Disconnect/connect battery ground line" removed

	Remove/install
	Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Remove right air nozzle (2)		AR68.10-P-1100TX
2	Remove center air outlet (3)		AR68.10-P-1150TX
3	Remove instrument cluster cover (4)		AR68.10-P-1550TX
4	Open glove compartment.
5	Remove bolts (5)
6	Unscrew bolts (6) with battery-powered screwdriver	Cordless drill/driver	*WH58.30-Z-1007-20A
7	Loosen bolt (7)
8	Remove trim strip (1) until electrical connectors on AAC control and operating unit (N22) or comfort AAC AAC control and operating unit (N22/7) are accessible.	Cover steering column module paneling to prevent damaging trim strip (1) or steering column mode paneling. Observe reset button of instrument panel.
9	Disconnect electrical connectors from AAC control and operating unit (N22) or comfort AAC control and operating unit (N22/7)
10	Remove trim strip (1) together with AAC control and operating unit (N22) or comfort AAC control and operating unit (N22/7)
11.1	Remove AAC control and operating unit (N22) or comfort AAC control and operating unit (N22/7) from trim strip (1).	Only when replacing trim strip (1).
		Lay trim strip (1) with front side down on suitable subsurface to prevent damaging trim strip (1). See: ↓
		Remove and install control and operating unit	AR83.40-P-6350TY
12	Install in the reverse order
