Disconnect/connect ground line on battery

	Remove/install
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Raise vehicle with lifting platform		AR00.60-P-1000P
2	Unhook shift rod from intermediate lever from below	Press off retainer using a suitable tool. Installation: Replace both locking devices of the shift rod, check bushings for damage and replace if necessary.
3	Lower vehicle with lifting platform
4	Remove selector lever handle with covering	Model 203, 209.3 with mechanism 722.6 up to 30.4.02	AR27.60-P-0905P

6	Detach ignition switch control cable (1) at electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5).	Compress the retaining lug (1b) and press the coupling (1c) against the spring force into the electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5), twist 90° (to the right or left) and detach cable of ignition switch (1).
7	Unscrew bolt (4)		*BA27.60-P-1001-02A
8	Separate electrical connector (5)
9	Remove electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5)
10	Install in the reverse order
11	Adjusting shift rod		AR27.60-P-0980P
12	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out and erase fault memory
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
