IMPORTANT If the top compartment is completely full, mounting tray (24) can also be installed in the lid of the glove compartment.

IMPORTANT For vehicles with (code 330) CD holder, access to the two upper CD trays of the CD holder (19) is no longer possible after the wiring harness for the i-Pod has been installed.

REMOVING Remove

DANGER Risk of explosion  from electrolytic gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury  caused by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and safety glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
1 Disconnect battery ground line

2.1 Remove radio

2.2 Remove radio and APS navigation control panel

2.3 Remove operating / display unit with control unit

3 Remove cover below instrument panel (right)

7 Connect i-Pod (18) to connector (2) in glove compartment    
8 Adhere mounting tray (24) into glove compartment as shown in figure using MB universal adhesive

9 Install remaining parts onto vehicle IMPORTANT Steps 3 up to 1.  
10 Perform version coding subsequently   AZ54.65-P-0001-08Q
