1.1	Transfer basic data from the COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3) to STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing the COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3). Installation: Transfer temporarily stored basic data to the new COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Remove upper control panel control unit.		AR54.21-P-1262PA
3	Remove control and operating unit		AR83.40-P-6350PA
4	Remove bolts (1)
5	Remove COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3)
6	Disconnect connectors from COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3)
7	Cover fiber optic cable	Install caps on fiber optic cable connector and equipment connector.	AR82.95-P-0005-01A
