Function prerequisites :

Function

Actuation of the "Unlock vehicle" button on the transmitter key triggers the corresponding central locking  function. If the button is pressed for longer than 5 seconds, then a convenience locking signal is sent by infrared (IR) by the transmitter key  . The signal is picked up by one of the IR receivers. If the function prerequisites are fulfilled, then the corresponding door control module sends the convenience locking command to the CAN. The command is sent as long as the signal is received by the transmitter key. The overhead control panel control module (N70)  then executes the tilting/sliding roof convenience closing  function . The door control modules execute the power window convenience closing  function.

When the "Unlock vehicle" button is pressed, the corresponding convenience opening  functions are executed.
