Washer Tank Removal/Installation (Us)

NOTE:
  • If the procedure is performed with washer fluid in the washer tank, the washer fluid may leak out. When performing the procedure, place a container under the washer tank to collect washer fluid, and perform the procedure.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Remove the upper face. (See UPPER FACE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
  4. Insert the remover tool into the service hole at the position shown in the illustration.
    NOTE:
    • If the washer tank bracket is not to be replaced, it does not need to be removed.

  5. While pressing the washer tank bracket tabs in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the illustration, pull the washer tank bracket in the direction of the arrow (2) and pull out the washer tank bracket from the shroud upper member.
  6. Remove the cap.
  7. Move the washer funnel in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the illustration while pressing it in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the illustration, and remove the washer funnel from the washer tank bracket.

  8. Disconnect the connectors.

  9. Press out the clip in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the illustration while pressing the clip tabs in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the illustration, and remove the clip from the washer tank.

  10. Disconnect the washer hose from the washer motor.
  11. Remove the washer hose from the washer tank hook. (See WINDSHIELD WASHER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .) (See REAR WASHER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
  12. Pull out the washer hose from the area A of the washer tank.
  13. Remove the bolts.

  14. Move the washer tank in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and pull out the washer tank hook from the vehicle.

  15. Pull out the washer tank pin and remove the washer tank from the vehicle.
  16. Remove the washer motor. (See WASHER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  17. Remove the washer fluid-level sensor (with washer fluid-level sensor). (See WASHER FLUID-LEVEL SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  18. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  19. Perform the 360° view monitor system aiming. (with 360° view monitor system) (See 360°VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM AIMING .)
  20. Perform the front radar sensor aiming adjustment. (with front radar sensor) (See FRONT RADAR SENSOR AIMING .)
  21. Perform the front side radar sensor aiming adjustment. (with front side radar sensor) (See FRONT SIDE/REAR SIDE RADAR SENSOR AIMING .)
