Diagnostic Procedure

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection		Action
1	INSPECT TUNER AND AMP UNIT CONNECTOR CONDITION Switch the ignition off. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .) Disconnect the tuner and amp unit connector. Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection. Is the connector normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 9.
2	INSPECT ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 1 CONNECTOR CONDITION Disconnect the antenna feeder No. 1 connector. Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection. Is the connector normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
2		No	Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 9.
3	INSPECT ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 1 Inspect antenna feeder No. 1. (See ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 1 INSPECTION .) Is antenna feeder No. 1 normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
3		No	Replace antenna feeder No. 1, then go to Step 9. (See ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4	INSPECT ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 2 CONNECTOR CONDITION Disconnect the antenna feeder No. 1 connector. Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection. Is the connector normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
4		No	Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 9.
5	INSPECT ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 2 Inspect antenna feeder No. 2. (See ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 2 INSPECTION .) Is antenna feeder No. 2 normal?	Yes	4SD Go to Step 8. 5HB Go to the next step.
5		No	Replace antenna feeder No. 2, then go to Step 9. (See ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 2 REMOVAL .) (See ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 2 INSTALLATION .)
6	INSPECT ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 3 CONNECTOR CONDITION Disconnect the antenna feeder No. 3 connector. Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection. Is the connector normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
6		No	Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 9.
7	INSPECT ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 3 Inspect antenna feeder No. 3. (See ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 3 INSPECTION .) Is antenna feeder No. 3 normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
7		No	Replace antenna feeder No. 3, then go to Step 9. (See ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 3 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
8	INSPECT SIRIUSXM SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA FEEDER Inspect the SiriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder. (See CENTER ROOF ANTENNA INSPECTION .) Is the SiriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
8		No	Replace the center roof antenna, then go to the next step. (See CENTER ROOF ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
9	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Always reconnect all disconnected connectors. Reconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .) Clear the DTC for the connectivity master unit using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT] .) Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 7 s or more. Perform the DTC inspection for the connectivity master unit using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT] .) Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the tuner and amp unit. (See TUNER AND AMP UNIT (TAU) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) Go to the next step.
9		No	Go to the next step.
10	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT] .)
10		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
