Diagnostic Procedure

DTC B1A89:13 DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step Inspection Action
1 INSPECT TUNER AND AMP UNIT CONNECTOR CONDITION
  • Switch the ignition off.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  • Disconnect the tuner and amp unit connector.
  • Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
  • Is the connector normal?
Yes Go to the next step.
No Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 8.
2 INSPECT ANTENNA FEEDER No. 1 CONNECTOR CONDITION
  • Disconnect the antenna feeder No. 1 connector.
  • Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
  • Is the connector normal?
Yes Go to the next step.
No Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 8.
3 INSPECT SIRIUSXM SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA FEEDER No. 1
  • Inspect siriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder No. 1. (See ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 1 INSPECTION .)
  • Is the siriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder No. 1 normal?
Yes Go to the next step.
No Replace the siriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder No. 1, then go to Step 8.
(See ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4 INSPECT ANTENNA FEEDER No. 2 CONNECTOR CONDITION
  • Disconnect the antenna feeder No. 2 connector.
  • Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
  • Is the connector normal?
Yes Go to the next step.
No Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 8.
5 INSPECT SIRIUSXM SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA FEEDER No. 2
  • Inspect siriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder No. 2. (See ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 2 INSPECTION .)
  • Is the siriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder No. 2 normal?
Yes Go to the next step.
No Replace the siriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder No. 2, then go to Step 8.

6 INSPECT SIRIUSXM SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA AMPLIFIER CONNECTOR CONDITION
  • Disconnect the siriusXM satellite radio antenna amplifier connector.
  • Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
  • Is the connector normal?
Yes Go to the next step.
No Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 8.
7 INSPECT SIRIUSXM SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA AMPLIFIER
  • Inspect the siriusXM satellite radio antenna amplifier. (See CENTER ROOF ANTENNA INSPECTION .)
  • Is the siriusXM satellite radio antenna amplifier normal?
Yes Go to the next step.
No Replace the siriusXM satellite radio antenna amplifier, then go to the next step.
(See CENTER ROOF ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
8 VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Yes Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
Go to the next step.
No Go to the next step.
9 VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED
  • Are any other DTCs displayed?
Yes Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
(See DTC TABLE [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT] .)
No DTC troubleshooting completed.
