Rear Spoiler Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the liftgate upper trim. (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the service hole covers.

  4. Remove the nuts.

  5. Move the remover tool in the direction of the arrows shown in the figure and detach the clips of the rear spoiler from the liftgate.

  6. Pull the rear spoiler in the order of the arrows shown in the figure and detach the rear spoiler pins from the liftgate.

  7. Disconnect the high-mount brake light connector.

  8. Remove the wiring harness clips secured to the rear spoiler.
  9. Remove the rear spoiler and the side spoiler as a single unit.
  10. Remove the high-mount brake light. (See HIGH-MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  11. Remove the side spoiler. (See SIDE SPOILER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
