Liftgate Upper Trim Removal/Installation

Open the liftgate.
Pull the liftgate upper trim in the order of the arrows shown in the figure and detach clips A and B from the liftgate side trim.

Pull the liftgate upper trim in the order of the arrows shown in the figure and detach clips A and B from the liftgate.

Cut the lead wire connecting clip B and the grommet using a nipper in the position shown in the figure and remove the liftgate upper trim.

Press the grommet tabs in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the figure, pull the grommet out in the direction of the arrow (2) and remove the grommet from the liftgate.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:

When installing the liftgate upper trim, install clip B and the grommet to the liftgate upper trim in advance.
