Antenna Control Condition Inspection
- Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
- Turn the audio unit power to ON.
- Tune in the radio.
- While pressing the POWER/VOLUME switch, simultaneously press the FM/AM button for 0.5 s or more .
- Inspect according to the following table:
INSPECTION DISPLAY ACTION Launch the antenna control condition inspection mode. ANT - ON Sound quality good. System is okay. Sound quality poor. - Inspect the roof antenna and antenna feeder.

- If either the roof antenna and antenna feeder is not normal, replace the malfunctioning part.

- If the roof antenna and antenna feeder are normal, replace the audio unit.

- If either the roof antenna and antenna feeder is not normal, replace the malfunctioning part.
ANT - OFF Replace the audio unit.
(See AUDIO UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) - Inspect the roof antenna and antenna feeder.
- Cancel the diagnostic assist function by either turning off the audio unit power or by switching the ignition OFF (LOCK).
