Power Steering Oil Pump Removal/Installation [MZI 3.7 V6]

  1. Remove the windshield wiper arm and blade. (See WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Remove the cowl grill. (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the windshield wiper motor. (See WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir from the tank bracket and then remove the tank bracket from the cowl panel as shown in the figure.

  5. Remove the cowl panel. (See COWL PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  6. Set the front mudguard (RH) out of the way. (See FRONT MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  7. Remove the splash shield (RH).
  8. Set the power steering oil pump drive belt out of the way. (See DRIVE BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI 3.7 V6] .)
  9. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
  10. Install in the reverse order of removal.
