Front Oil Seal Replacement: Notes

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the plug hole plate.
  3. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the spark plugs. (See SPARK PLUG REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Remove the cylinder head cover. (See CYLINDER HEAD COVER INSTALLATION NOTE .)
  6. Remove the drive belt. (See DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT .)
  7. Remove the front drive shaft (RH) from the joint shaft. (See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION .)
  8. Remove the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor.
  9. (See CYLINDER HEAD TEMPERATURE SENSOR .)
  10. Remove in the order indicated in the figure.

  11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
