Condition Possible Sources Action
No Communication With the Module - Unable to Perform On-Demand Self-Test On Lighting Control Module
  • CJB Fuse 4 (10A).
  • CJB Fuse 5 (10A).
  • Circuitry.
  • LCM.
 GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
The Control Illumination Is Inoperative
  • CJB Fuse 1 (10A).
  • LCM
  • Circuitry.
 Go to PINPOINT TEST B .
The Climate Control Illumination Is Inoperative - One Bulb
  • Bulb.
  • EATC module.
 CHECK the inoperative illumination bulb. If OK, INSTALL a new EATC module. TEST the system for normal operation.
A Single Illumination Source Is Inoperative
  • Circuitry.
  • LCM.
  • Lamp.
 Go to PINPOINT TEST C .
A Single Illumination Source Is Inoperative - Steering Wheel Control Switches
  • Fuse.
  • Circuitry.
  • Air bag sliding contact (14A664).
  • Steering wheel control (SWC) switches.
  • SWC switch harness.
 Go to PINPOINT TEST D .
Driver and Passenger Front and Rear Window Switches and/or Driver and Passenger Door Lock Switches Illumination Inoperative
  • Inoperative switch.
 REPLACE the inoperative switch.
The Instrument Panel Illumination Does Not Dim
  • LCM.
 INSTALL a new LCM. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES .
