Installation [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

  2. CONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE

      *a Paint Mark *b 1.0 to 5.0 mm (0.0394 to 0.197 in.)
      *c 90° *d Upper Side
      *e RH Side - -
      1. Connect the water by-pass hose to the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly and slide the hose clip to secure it as shown in the illustration.
  3. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE 
  4. INSTALL ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET RH 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 78
  5. INSTALL ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      1. Connect the No. 2 earth wire to the engine mounting insulator sub-assembly RH with the bolt.

        Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

      2. Install the engine mounting insulator sub-assembly RH with the 2 bolts and nut.

        Torque: 72 N.m (734 kgf/cm, 53 ft.lbf) 

        NOTE:

        Temporarily tighten the bolt (A), and then fully tighten the 2 bolts and nut in the order of (B), (A) and (C).

      Bolt Nut
      1. Install the engine mounting insulator sub-assembly RH to the engine mounting bracket RH with the 3 bolts and nut.

        Bolt 

        Torque: 72 N.m (734 kgf/cm, 53 ft.lbf) 

        Nut 

        Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf/cm, 31 ft.lbf) 

  6. INSTALL REAR ENGINE MOUNTING STAY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE MOUNTING STAY RH 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10
  8. INSTALL ELECTRIC HEATER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2023 - ]

  9. CONNECT RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf/cm, 44 in.lbf) 

  10. CONNECT INTERCOOLER RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf/cm, 44 in.lbf) 

  11. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  12. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Engine) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  13. INSTALL SUSPENSION TOWER DAMPER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  14. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 80

  15. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 79

  16. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 81

  17. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH 
  18. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH
