- REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

- DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH
- REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [09/2023 - 12/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [12/2023 - ] - REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
- Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.
Place Hand Here Remove in this Direction - Using a moulding remover, disengage the clip as shown in the illustration.
- Using a moulding remover, disengage the clip as shown in the illustration.
- Disengage the 3 clips as shown in the illustration to remove the No. 1 instrument panel register assembly.
- Disconnect the 2 connectors.
- REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET

- REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL
- REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 - REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL
- REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH
- Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
- Use the same procedure as for the LH side and RH side.

- REMOVE NO. 1 SPEAKER OPENING COVER ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL END (w/ Headup Display)
- REMOVE BLE INDOOR DIGITAL KEY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Digital Key System)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [09/2023 - 12/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [12/2023 - ] - REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY
*A w/o Digital Key System - - - Disengage the 2 claws to disconnect the cooler (room temp. sensor) thermistor.
- w/o Digital Key System:
1. Disengage the 2 claws.
- Disconnect each connector.
- Disengage the clamp.
- Disconnect the 2 airbag connectors.
HINT:
Refer to How to Connect or Disconnect Airbag Connector.
Refer to HOW TO CONNECT OR DISCONNECT AIRBAG CONNECTOR [09/2023 - ]
- Remove the clip.
- Remove the 2 bolts <A>, 2 bolts <B> and nut <C>.
- Remove the clip.
- Remove the 2 bolts <B>, 2 nuts <C> and screw <D>.
Remove in this Direction - - - Disengage the 5 guides as shown in the illustration to remove the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.NOTE:
- Do not damage the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.
- Do not allow the wire harnesses to interfere with the surrounding parts.
- Disengage the 5 guides as shown in the illustration to remove the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.
- REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY
HINT:
Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 2 instrument panel garnish sub-assembly is necessary.
