Removal [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
  2. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL CUSHION 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL CUSHION 
    1. Use the same procedure described for the No. 2 instrument panel finish panel cushion.
  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  5. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  6. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22

  7. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
  8. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  9. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26
  10. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 

    HINT: 

    The illustrations are representative examples, and details may differ.

      Place hands here Remove in this Direction
      1. Remove the 4 bolts.
        NOTE:

        Do not drop bolts etc. into the No. 2 heater to register duct.

      2. Place your hands shown in the illustration and move it toward the rear of the vehicle to detach the clip.
      3. Disconnect each connector and detach the clamp.

        HINT: 

        w/ DCM 

        Remove the radio and display receiver assembly with bracket together with the telephone ECU wire.

  11. REMOVE STEREO PLAYER FINISH PANEL

  12. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY

      Place hands here Remove in this Direction
  13. REMOVE TELEPHONE ECU WIRE (w/ DCM) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  14. REMOVE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) WITH BRACKET (w/ DCM) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  15. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET
