Disassembly [10/2024 - ]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE COVER PLATE (except Gasoline Model)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
- for T24A-FTS Gasoline Model:

- for T24A-FTS Gasoline Model:
- REMOVE DOOR ARMREST COVER
- REMOVE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR UPPER ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Driver Side)
Remove in this Direction - - - Apply protective tape to the front door trim board sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
- Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 clips.
- Disengage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.
- Disconnect the connector to remove the multiplex network master switch assembly with front door upper armrest base panel.
- REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR UPPER ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Front Passenger Side)
Remove in this Direction - - - Apply protective tape to the front door trim board sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
- Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 clips.
- Disengage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.
- Disconnect the 3 connectors to remove the power window regulator switch assembly with front door upper armrest base panel.
- REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 - REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 2 screws.
Place Hand Here Remove in this Direction - Apply protective tape to the front door panel as shown in the illustration.
- Disengage the 10 clips, 4 claws and guide as shown in the illustration.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Disconnect the front door Lock remote control cable assembly as shown in the illustration to remove the front door trim board sub-assembly.
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE OUTER MIRROR INSTALL HOLE COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
- REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP
Remove in this Direction - - - Using a clip remover with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the clip.
- Disengage the guide and disconnect the front door weatherstrip as shown in the illustration.
- Remove the front door inner glass weatherstrip with front door rear belt seal as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR REAR BELT SEAL
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR VENT SEAL
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR ARMREST SET BRACKET
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK CONTROL BELLCRANK SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP CLIP
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER
- REMOVE SIDE AIRBAG PRESSURE SENSOR
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 - REMOVE DOOR FRAME UPPER GARNISH
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS RUN
- REMOVE HOLE PLUG
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY
*A for Driver Side *B for Front Passenger Side - for Driver Side:
1. Connect the multiplex network master switch assembly.
- for Front Passenger Side:
1. Connect the power window regulator switch assembly.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal and turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Move the front door glass sub-assembly so that the door glass bolts can be seen and turn the ignition switch off.
- for Driver Side:
*A for Driver Side *B for Front Passenger Side Remove in this Direction (1) Remove in this Direction (2) - Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- for Driver Side:
1. Disconnect the multiplex network master switch assembly.
- for Front Passenger Side:
1. Disconnect the power window regulator switch assembly.
- Remove the 2 bolts.NOTE:
After the bolts are removed, do not allow the front door glass sub-assembly to fall.
- Remove the front door glass sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
Do not damage the front door glass sub-assembly.
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR REAR LOWER FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE HOLE PLUG
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR FRONT LOWER FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR FIX WINDOW GLASS
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR FIX WINDOW WEATHERSTRIP
- REMOVE NO. 2 SEPARATION DOOR STIFFENER CUSHION
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK OPEN ROD
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER (w/ Lock Cylinder)
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY
*1 snap *2 rod Remove in this Direction - - - Disconnect the connector.
- Disengage the guide.
- Disengage the snap as shown in the illustration to disconnect the rod.
- Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, loosen the 2 screws.
HINT:
The screw cannot be removed because it is integrated into the front door outside handle frame sub-assembly.
- Remove the front door outside handle assembly as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE HOLE PLUG
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (w/ Lock Cylinder)
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY WITH COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 - REMOVE DOOR LOCK WIRING HARNESS SEAL

- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR PANEL CUSHION
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR PANEL HOLE PLUG
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR DUST PROOF SEAL
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY

- Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
