Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT COVER

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Apply protective tape around the rear combination light cover as shown in the illustration.
      2. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.
      3. Disengage the 5 claws as shown in the illustration to remove the rear combination light cover.
  2. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove in this Direction (1) Remove in this Direction (2)
      1. Apply protective tape around the rear combination light sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
      2. Remove the 2 screws.
      3. Pull the rear combination light sub-assembly toward the rear of the vehicle as shown in the illustration to disengage the pin and 3 guides and separate the rear combination light sub-assembly.
        NOTE:

        To prevent the rear combination light sub-assembly from falling when disengaging the pin and 3 guides, make sure to hold the rear combination light sub-assembly.

      4. Turn the rear combination socket as shown in the illustration to disconnect it.
      5. Disconnect the connector.
      6. Disengage the 2 guides and disconnect the connector to remove the rear combination light sub-assembly.
  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

  4. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE COVER PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [03/2024 - ]

  5. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [03/2024 - ]

  6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR BOARD REAR RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [03/2024 - ]

  7. REMOVE JUNCTION BLOCK SERVICE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [03/2024 - ]

  8. REMOVE REAR FLOOR BOARD REAR LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [03/2024 - ]

  9. REMOVE FRONT DECK FLOOR BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [03/2024 - ]

  10. REMOVE DECK BOARD SET SUPPORT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [03/2024 - ]

  11. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [03/2024 - ]

  12. REMOVE NO. 3 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [03/2024 - ]

  13. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34 [03/2024 - ]

  14. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22

  15. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE TRIM BASE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [03/2024 - ]

  16. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 37 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 37 [03/2024 - ]

  17. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 39 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 39 [03/2024 - ]
  18. REMOVE LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 40 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 40 [03/2024 - ]

  19. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 41 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 41 [03/2024 - ]
  20. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side) 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 42 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 42 [03/2024 - ]
  21. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side) 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 43 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 43 [03/2024 - ]
  22. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE
