Disassembly [12/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE LOCK CONTROL CABLE PLATE

    Remove in this Direction
    1. Detach the claw and remove the luggage lock control cable plate as shown in the illustration.
  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE

    1. Remove the luggage compartment door inside handle from the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.
  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the claw and open the cover.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and luggage compartment assist grip.

  4. REMOVE SWITCH BEZEL 
    1. Detach the claw and remove the switch bezel.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER 
    1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

    2. Detach the clip and remove the luggage compartment door cover.

  7. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  8. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the clamp and remove the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR CLOSER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  10. REMOVE LUGGAGE LOCK CONTROL CABLE CLAMP 
    1. Detach the claw and guide and remove the luggage lock control cable clamp.

  11. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and disconnect the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly.

    2. Detach the clamp of the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

      Pull Out
    3. Pull out the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly together with the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.
  12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT KEY CYLINDER PROTECTOR 
    1. Remove the nut and luggage compartment key cylinder protector.

  13. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly from the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly.

  14. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  15. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  16. REMOVE UPPER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  17. REMOVE UPPER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  18. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  19. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE TRIM CLIP 
    1. Detach the claw and remove the rear luggage trim clip.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  20. REMOVE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  21. REMOVE LUGGAGE ELECTRICAL KEY SWITCH

  22. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  23. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT 
    1. Holding the strap, lift the luggage compartment floor mat in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and remove it.

  24. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Holding the strap, lift the luggage compartment mat sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and remove it.

  25. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 
    1. Holding the strap, lift the luggage compartment trim cover LH in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, detach the pin and remove it.

    1. Holding the strap, lift the luggage compartment trim cover RH in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, detach the pin and remove it.

    1. Using a clip remover, detach the 8 clips and remove the inner lower luggage compartment trim cover.

  29. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 
    1. Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips.

    2. Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips.

    3. Place your hands at the positions shown in the illustration and bend the front luggage compartment trim cover down.

      Place Hand Here Remove in this Direction (1)
      Remove in this Direction (2) - -
    4. While bending the front luggage compartment trim cover toward the inside, pull it out in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to remove it.

      HINT: 

      Do not bend the front luggage compartment trim cover so far that it breaks.

  30. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  31. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 
    1. Using a clip remover, remove the 6 clips.

    2. Push the lever in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and remove the rope hook.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the opposite side.

    3. Place your hands at the positions shown in the illustration, and while bending the rear luggage compartment trim cover toward the inside of the vehicle, pull it out to remove it.

    1. Remove the 4 clips and luggage compartment door hinge cover LH.

  33. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  34. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION 
    1. Detach the claw and remove the luggage compartment door cushion.
