Installation [10/2020 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. When installing a new instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly:
      1. Immediately before installing the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly, twist and cut off the portion as shown in the illustration.

    2. Push in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and set the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly into place on the vehicle.

      Install in this Direction - -
    3. Lift in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and insert the guide.
      NOTE:

      Check the installation condition of the defroster nozzle assembly.

    4. Install the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly with the nut <F>, 6 bolts <E> and 2 clips <D>.

    5. Attach the claw and install the cooler thermistor (room temperature sensor).

    6. Connect the connector.

    7. Attach the clamp and connect the connector.

    8. Attach the clamp.

    9. Install the 2 bolts <C>.

      Bolt <C>

      Torque: 20 N.m (04 kgf/cm, 15 ft.lbf) 

    10. Attach the clamp.

      *a Lock Button
      Push
    11. Connect the airbag connector and push the lock button to lock.
      NOTE:
      • When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
      • Be sure to connect the connectors to each corresponding color.
      • Make sure the lock button is securely locked.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the opposite side.

  2. INSTALL TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT 
    1. Insert the No. 1 console box duct in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the No. 1 console box duct with the 2 clips.

  4. INSTALL FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the clip and install the No. 1 instrument panel speaker sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

  6. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Attach the clip and install the No. 2 instrument panel speaker panel sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

  8. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 38 [10/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 38 [11/2021 - 10/2023]

  9. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  10. INSTALL NAVIGATION ECU WITH BRACKET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  11. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  12. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Attach the guide and claw and install the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly.

  13. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Attach the clip in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.
