Removal [08/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2015 - ]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2021 - 08/2022] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2022 - ]

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  6. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  7. REMOVE FRONT UPPER CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36

  8. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH NAVIGATION ECU 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  9. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH CUSHION 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19

  12. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Pull the multi-display assembly with bracket to detach the clip on the backside of the multi-display assembly with bracket.

    3. Disconnect each connector and remove the multi-display assembly with bracket.
  13. REMOVE NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the claw and remove the No. 4 instrument panel register assembly.

  14. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 4 instrument panel register assembly.

  15. REMOVE NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE 
    1. Disconnect each connector.

      *a Clamp
      *b Hook
    2. Detach the clamp, claw and hook and remove the No. 4 instrument panel wire.
  16. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER BRACKET A 
    1. Remove the 2 screws A and screw B.

      Screw A
      Screw B
    2. Detach the guide and remove the multi-display controller bracket A.
  17. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER BRACKET B 
    1. Remove the 2 screws A and screw B.

      Screw A
      Screw B
    2. Detach the guide and remove the multi-display controller bracket B.
  18. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the clip and remove the multi-display.

  19. REMOVE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  20. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  21. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19
