Removal [07/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION (w/ DAB Function) 

    Refer to PRECAUTION [07/2015 - ] )

    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work. Refer to PRECAUTION [07/2015 - ] .

  2. CUSTOMIZE POWER TILT AND POWER TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN SYSTEM (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER (w/ DAB Function) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ DAB Function) 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION [07/2015 - ] .

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  8. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  9. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Pull the radio receiver assembly with bracket toward the rear of the vehicle and disengage the 2 clips and 2 claws.

    3. Disconnect each connector and remove the radio receiver assembly with bracket.
  10. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (w/o DAB Function) 
    1. Remove the 4 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.

  11. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (w/o DAB Function) 
    1. Remove the 4 screws and No. 2 radio bracket.

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (w/ DAB Function) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  13. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (w/ DAB Function) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  14. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/o DAB Function) 
  15. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ DAB Function)
