Removal [07/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work. Refer to PRECAUTION [07/2015 - ] .

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the luggage trim service hole cover.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION [07/2015 - ] .

  4. REMOVE AUXILIARY BATTERY 
    1. Open the auxiliary battery terminal cap.

    2. Loosen the nut, and disconnect the positive (+) auxiliary battery cable.
    3. Disconnect the auxiliary battery hose.
    4. Loosen the nut and remove the bolt.
    5. Remove the auxiliary battery clamp.
    6. Remove the auxiliary battery.
