Adjustment [04/2013 - 08/2015]: Procedure

REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Rear Catalyst)
- for 2GR-FSE:
  Refer to REMOVAL [04/2013 - 10/2016]
- for 4GR-FSE:
  Refer to REMOVAL [04/2013 - 08/2015]
REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR
- for 2GR-FSE:
  Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- for 4GR-FSE:
  Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

ADJUST SHIFT LEVER POSITION

Remove the nut and separate the floor shift gear shifting rod sub-assembly from the lever of the transmission floor shift assembly.

Lever

Turn the transmission control shaft lever LH clockwise until it stops, then turn it counterclockwise 2 notches.

Temporarily install the floor shift gear shifting rod sub-assembly to the lever of the transmission floor shift assembly with the nut.

	Pushing the lever rearward

Tighten the nut while lightly pushing the lever of the transmission floor shift assembly rearward.
Torque: 12.8 N.m (131 kgf/cm, 9 ft.lbf)

NOTE:
Do not push the lever of the transmission floor shift assembly too hard.
