Washer Motor: Installation

  1. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the windshield washer motor and pump assembly as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the windshield washer jar and pump assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

    2. Install the upper part of the windshield washer jar and pump assembly to the windshield washer jar and pump assembly.
    3. Install the bolt.

      Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf) 

    4. Connect each connector.

    5. Connect the washer hose to the windshield washer motor and pump assembly.

  3. INSTALL NO. 3 COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the screw.
    2. Install the No. 3 cool air intake duct sub-assembly with the 2 bolts

      Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

    3. Engage the engine under cover clip.

    4. Install the 3 front fender liner LH screws.

  4. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. ADD WASHER FLUID  (See INSTALLATION  )
  7. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL FRONT UPPER FENDER PROTECTOR LH  (See INSTALLATION  )
  9. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  10. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  (See INSTALLATION )
  11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
  12. VEHICLE PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIMING ADJUSTMENT  (See ADJUSTMENT )
