Pipe, Exhaust CROSSUNDER: Installation: 2.4L

- Loosely install the cross-under pipe to the catalytic converter outlet flange nuts (1).
- Loosely install the cross-under pipe support bolt (2).
- Install the cross-under pipe isolator bolts (1). Tighten bolts (5) to the proper torque. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the resonator muffler assembly to the cross-under pipe and tighten the clamp (2) to the proper torque. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Tighten the cross-under pipe flange nuts to the proper torque. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Tighten the cross-under pipe support bolt to the proper torque. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Check for proper pipe to shield/component clearance.
- Install the rear engine insulator and bracket. For 2.4L Gas, refer to INSULATOR, ENGINE MOUNT, REAR, INSTALLATION . For 3.5L Gas, refer to INSULATOR, ENGINE MOUNT, REAR, INSTALLATION . .
- Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION .
- Check for exhaust leaks. Repair exhaust leaks as necessary.
