Insulator, Engine Mount, Rear: Installation

  1. If removed, install the transmission pivot bracket to the transmission. Tighten the bolts to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. Rotate the engine to allow the lower engine strut mount (3) to be installed.

  3. Position the rear strut mount to the crossmember.
  4. Install the torque strut (5) to pivot bracket through bolt (1). Tighten the nut (2) to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  5. Install the rear torque strut to cradle through bolt. Tighten the nut (3) to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .

  6. Tighten the strut cover bracket nuts (1, 3) to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  7. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION .
  8. Lower the vehicle.
