Test 15C - Overdrive Off Light Circuit

NOTE:
Perform TEST 15A

. Perform TEST 3A - VERIFICATION TEST
after each repair.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Turn ignition off. Remove fuse No. 21 (15-amp) from fuse block under right side of dash. Ensure cruise control in off. Use scan tool in ohmmeter mode. Measure resistance at fused ignition switch output terminal (White/Black wire) on fuse No. 21 socket. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, go to next step. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair fused ignition switch output circuit for short to ground. Replace fuse.
- Connect jumper wire between OD OFF switch connector terminals No. 4 and 7. Measure resistance at fused ignition switch output terminal (White/Black wire) on fuse No. 21 socket. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open fused ignition switch output circuit. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace OD OFF switch assembly.
