Trouble Diagnosis Flow Chart
- CAN SYSTEM TYPE CONFIRMATION
Confirm the CAN system type based on vehicle specification and equipment. Refer to CAN SYSTEM SPECIFICATION CHART .
GO TO STEP 2 .
- CAN DIAGNOSIS
With CONSULT
Perform CAN diagnosis function on CONSULT.
NOTE:If ECU is not equipped, an error will be displayed on CAN diagnosis function. However it is not malfunction on the vehicle. Refer to VEHICLE EQUIPMENT IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION .
Is any error detected?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
CAN communication circuit is normal.
- NETWORK GROUP TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS
Perform the diagnosis for the error occurred network group.
NOTE:If error occurred in plural network, check network group according to priority in the table.

- REPAIR OR REPLACE THE MALFUNCTIONING PART
- Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
- Reconnect parts or connectors disconnected during Diagnosis Procedure again after repair and replacement.
GO TO STEP 5 .
- FINAL CHECK
With CONSULT
- Check all DTC. If DTC is detected, erase DTCs.
- Perform CAN diagnosis function on CONSULT.
Is any error detected?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
INSPECTION END
