Self-Diagnostic Mode Cannot Be Entered

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If warning lights operate, go to next step. If warning lights do not operate, check combination meter power and ground circuits. See POWER SUPPLY & GROUND CIRCUIT CHECK under SYSTEM TESTS.
Remove combination meter. See COMBINATION METER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Check screws securing speedometer and Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC). See Figure . If screws are tight, replace speedometer or FPC as necessary. If screws are loose, tighten as necessary and repeat combination meter self-diagnostics. See ENTERING SELF-DIAGNOSTIC MODE .
