Combination Meter

  1. Disable air bag system. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove steering wheel, column cover and combination switch. See Figure . Remove instrument panel lower finisher.
  2. Remove driver-side lower instrument panel. Remove instrument cluster lid. Remove combination meter (instrument cluster) retaining screws. Pull instrument cluster back enough to disconnect harness connectors. Disconnect harness connectors and remove instrument cluster. To install, reverse removal procedure.
