Installation Procedure

  1. Install the assembly to vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the bolt to the retractor.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).

  3. Install the bolt to the upper guide.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).

  4. Route the belt through trim panel.
  5. Install the lock pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Garnish Molding Replacement .
  6. Install the lower anchor bolt to bodyside panel.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).

  7. Install the floor anchor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).

  8. Install the seat belt anchor bolt cover.
  9. Install the door sill plate. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement or Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
