Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Heater Replacement (with HP2)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (without HP2) or Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (with HP2) .
  2. Remove the front seat back finish panel. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement (with HP2) or Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement (without HP2) .
  3. Remove the front seat cushion outer trim panel. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (with HP2) or Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Manual Seat without HP2) or Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Power Seat without HP2) .
  4. Remove the front seat cushion inner trim panel. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (with HP2) or Front Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (without HP2) .
  5. Remove the front seat head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement (Without AYE) or Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement (With AYE) .
  6. Remove the front seat head restraint guides. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Guide Replacement (without HP2) or Front Seat Head Restraint Guide Replacement (with HP2) .
1 Front Seat Back Cushion Cover

Procedure

  1. Disengage the j-channel retainers from the seat back cushion frame.
  2. Tilt the seat back forward to make it easier to remove and install the cover.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors that attach to the seat back cushion, if equipped.
  4. Remove the seat back cushion cover and pad from the seat cushion frame as an assembly.
  5. Remove the hog rings.

Tip:  The heater is retained to the pad with adhesive, carefully peel the heater from the seat back cushion to remove.
